...and also managed to catch on camera. Not counting my own. Only 10 cars since 2007.

A lot of silver and gray. People tend to like their big, comfy sedans in fairly neutral colors, which is a shame, because it looks spectacular in green or blue.

Oh God, yes. By the time you get home from the car wash, the wheels are black again. It's a battle you cannot win.

It's the same across the board for all German cars, sadly. Even my little smart practically snows brake dust. And after two and a half years of almost daily cleaning, my wheels have begun pitting anyway!

Over here in Illinois? I can only say I've seen no more than 5 or so Phaetons in the same length of time.

Which is sad, I love those things!

I still wish my uncle hadn't sold his. I never even got to drive it!

Nocturne Aubergine. Easily my favorite color

When every I see a Phaeton, I can't decide if it's a savvy car to own or complete folly. Yes, you get all the greatness of Bentley at a reasonable price, but none of the glory. While the MSRP is way lower than a Bentley, the maintenance costs aren't, especially for the W12.

"I can't decide if it's a savvy car to own or complete folly."

The answer is yes.

Gah! Those side skirts...those calipers...those wheels...what is going on?

Pretty sure that whole strip mall is owned by Russians, so that might be what is going on. The pawn shop (not pictured) was held up by some meth head a few months ago. The owner dared the girl to shoot him, which she did, and he promptly pulled out his gun and shot her four or five times.

There are at least three that live in my town... I have seen one in Los Angeles, too.
